About ASF( Advanced Streaming Format )?
ASF is a highly compressed extendable made up of streaming video, audio. When an ASF file is played back, content is transported to you to be a continuous flow of data. You no longer need to wait for whole video and audio file to totally download before starting to watch them. When an AVI file is compressed and converted to an .asf file, the file begins playing after just one or two seconds. So, this file format is especially created to are powered by networks. ASF files is usually played back when the windows are Media Player (provided the suitable codecs are installed), streamed with Windows Media Services or optionally packaged with Windows Media Rights Manager. |
